So, as many of you may have guessed, I will be leaving in a few days and for...8 days at least. In order to entertain myself beyond the Christmas going-ons, I would like you all to rec (links, please) me your favorite:

I'm looking for happy, angsty, whatever. I want to save them on my computer and read them over the break. And if you have one in each of these categories, by all means, link them all! And in the meantime, I'll be making bunches of icons and trying write two fics.

And in return, I offer you one of my favorite M/Ks. You don't need to know much about XF to enjoy it. This fic, the first time I read it, I bawled my eyes out (yeah grab your Kleenex if you cry at all) and immediately read it another two times. And just rereading it now--no less enjoyable. Beautiful sentiment, wonderful traditions and the most incredible description of snow I've ever read.

Ooo! I'll rec you some XF fic. You've probably read every M/K fic I've ever read, so tell me what kind of MSR fic you're interested in? You want pure fluff? Or something more interesting and deep, like a casefile? And if so, what kind of casefile? Or what kind of non-casefile?

Hahaha well, that's the problem. Because I have a lot of favorites. You've read "Parabiosis" and "ELS" right? And I have a whole damn list of Mytharc stories at Fugues Fiction Archive, which I'll just copy and paste for you. Unfortunately, since I don't archive smut/fluff stories, I can't really remember which really, really nice fluff stories are.

"Oklahoma" (The T.S. Eliot one), I've read about two or three times. It's absolutely brutal, Mulder-profiler-torture. Well, kind of intellectual, mental torture. But I love it. It's so well written. And it ties in with The Waste Land and Prufrock pretty well.

My other absolutely FAVORITE is "Aquinnah." I've read that one about 5-10 times. And "ELS", I've read the ENTIRE thing about 2-3 times. And the three Wickedzoot fics...wow, I've reread those plenty times too.

Honestly, after the list foxestacado given, I guess you have enough reading material to read into next summer. And I think you must have read a lot of M/K too, many stories that are favs of mine.

I can pimp my own stories, but I (hope) you've read some.

However, I can offer one story (series) that has both MSR and M/K (it's NOT a Sc/M/K story), just Mulder is really...put in jeopardy whom to choose. And chose he MUST. This series has one of my most fav Krycek, Mulder AND Scully, who is tough as nails and the parts where she duels with Krycek for Mulder are...just cool.

My absolute favorite X-Files story is eventually a Sk/K/M. I read it at least about every 6 months, so I have read it many, many times. It is called Settling my JiM

Book One Summary: Skinner meets up with an old nemesis and discovers that being kidnapped can be both informative and restful.

Book Two Summary: Skinner and Krycek are threatened by unbridled domesticity until Fox Mulder rescues them from all that peace and quiet.

Book Three doesn't have a summary but just continues where two left off.

I have no idea what MSR stands for. And that story you rec'd was really sad. And you are right about the description of snow.

Please do give it a try. The story gives me the 'warm fuzzies'. It is basically a post series story. The story really should be considered Sk/K, Sk/M, Sk/M/K, M/K (at least I think that is the order.) It is about time for me to read it again. I know I have read it AT LEAST 10 times. It is not heavy on the sex, but what it does have is great.

Ahhh, Mulder/Scully. No wonder I didn't know what MSR was. I don't think I have read any of those ever. There is simply too much good slash that I never have time to find any good het.
