Why do the large art pieces I make in GIMP always come out pixelized?

I don't think so. I usually sharpen them that much myself (usually). This is, it looks fine as I'm making it but once its saved everythings incredibly pixelized. It's bizzare. And this ones worse than any other's I've done before and it sucks cause I love the collage but it looks crappy because of it. :-P

Oh so your icons are sharpened that way? I always assumed it was because of GIMP :D

What are you saving your collage as? Perhaps it has something to do with the file format?

Well, with gimp, it's like if I want any detail, I have to sharpen to the point where you notice its been sharpened. So it is me...but its gimp, too.
