Brief Rant on Jeremy Renner's Person

First, I want to direct you all to the Awkward!Hawkeye Fest hosted by aliassmith that has some really silly (AND AWESOME) ficlets and basically, a whole bunch of ridiculous gifs of Jeremy Renner being a total dork.

Which, context provided, he just finished swinging a hammer to hit the thing up a machine to test your strength (like at carnivals)...and he'd just failed. LIKE MISERABLY. He hit the very first rung only. I DIED. Because, dude, so me. And so is that face.

STOP WITH YOUR FACE, JEREMY.

And seriously, this is just a perfect instance of how Awkward!Hawkeye might look. :D

Also from that interview, check out this collection of gifs because seriously, it was an interview entirely in Russian and they were so awkward and it was so awkward and then this ridiculously buff guy in a speedo comes and up and their reactions are priceless.

And then I just wanted to leave this photo because, first of all - what are they doing?!? Second of all, I'm digging that ridiculous lean-in and arm grab between Jeremy and RDJ. And finally JEREMY RENNER, STOP WITH THAT WAIST.



No seriously, when did I go from obsessing over Steve/Tony and RDJ (not that either of those are gone) to being so obsessed with Jeremy Renner. THE THINGS HE DOES TO ME.

Haha, that is an appropriate icon. And makes me very curious about the context! I feel like it could fit with any number of shows I watch as well as comics. Why are awkward moments so endearing when done with attractive people?lol

Right? Although in my headcanon, it is between Wade and Clint because both of them are sort of social failures, really. It never fails to make me grin fondly and think, oh boys.

Uh. I should maybe mention I am something of a Deadpool/Hawkeye girl? This isn't awkward, is it? ;D

Haha, nice. I've only really ever experienced Deadpool in the Wolverine movie. And seeing the occasional icon/fic here and there. But he does seem to be popular.

AHHHH, I am too busy crushing on Cumberbatch to be taking in the sheer amount of material for Steve/Tony and RDJ. And god, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye will probably be the hottest thing ever. God.

It's so hard to keep track of more than one fandom, isn't it? I mean, once I got into Avengers, my obsession with X-Men slipped a bit. And it's like, as I get into Clint/Coulson more, I'm reading less Steve/Tony. THERE JUST ISN'T ENOUGH TIME.

But yes, OMG, Jeremy. I CAN'T WAIT.

I know exactly what you mean! I was fangirling the Steve/Tony ship since Iron Man, giving all the fic recs out on Tumblr last year after Cap. Then that tiny, smushy faced goof snuck into my brain and now it's just ALL THE JEREMY! Though I do think Mission Impossible 4 may have had something to do with it. Dat ass. I never got the ass fascination with anyone til that film, he ruined me.

I love that gif! I'd seen him hit the thingy, laughed so hard I choked on air, but never seen his response. Just makes it even funnier!

Oh, yes, his ass looked fine in that movie. And body in general. Boys with guns, I tell you. (The ass thing I've always gotten; to this day I still don't get why boys holding guns is so hot considering I'm very anti-gun and would never even date a boy who owned a gun if he wasn't in the government...hmmm, maybe that's my answer.lol)

I watched the whole interview and I just...when he swung so hard and it didn't even move and then his face...I'm pretty sure my neighbors heard me snorting. *G*

I'm more of an RDJ person myself, but that doesn't stop me from appreciating *some ogling*

Haha, don't get me wrong. I've been in love with RDJ since I was about 5. So I guess it's sort of the new and shiny overtaking my ever-burning love? IDK. I just love Jeremy's face.

The best description of that photo I saw was someone on tumblr who said "it looks like Nick Fury is photobombing a photobomb". And I was all: ACCURATE.
