I'd be okay if it were either McGee or Jenny. I'm not attached to either of them. I'm afraid that it's gonna be one of the Cool 3--Tony, Ziva or heaven forbid, Abby.

No, I love McGee!! I'm hoping towards Ducky or Jen. Ducky would be a terrible loss, but...he's still not quite team. I could deal. It just sucks in general.

Ducky would be harder for me. I have fond memories of the actor on The Man From Uncle.

For me, McGee's the weakest link in the group dynamic. He's basically there to be computer geek, which isn't necessary every week and give somebody for Tony to tease and he's got Ziva for that, now.

Then there's Gibbs. Tony could easily take over the team. I could deal with losing Gibbs as long as they don't do what they did on Criminal Minds and replace the group leader with new actor. Tony would be the best choice to replace Gibbs.

The more I think about it, it probably won't be Jenny. Killing off Jenny wouldn't have the emotional impact of killing off a main character would. That makes me scared for Tony, Ziva and Abby.

I really think it's going to be Abby, Tony, McGee or Gibbs. It would be odd to kill off Ziva since she replaced a character that was killed off. That seems like weak story telling, but you never know.

I think I'm going to go spoiler hunting. I really want to know.

I agree. But, as someone else pointed out, this thing with her father has been building up all season and the death may have something to do with that.

In a way, I feel like they've been preparing us for quite some time for Mark's depature. It seems like his role has become smaller and smaller.

I went spoiler hunting and couldn't find anything on just who is leaving, but I did find this at spoilerfix.com.

Well, with Mark, it was because of a falling out with Bellasario. I wouldn't be surprised if it is Gibbs, but, as ahnka said, Bellasario did concede to Mark, so there shouldn't be a reason to leave.

But hey, if you find out how it is that dies...I don't want to know, k?

Did the spoiler you read specifically say murdered? This one makes is sound like something else.

What did Mark want? More money or less time on the job or both?

The Deadliest Catch didn't start until 9, so I watched NCIS. Since you don't like animals, I don't think you're going to particularly care for this week's episode or identify with it.

They one I saw did say murdered. I'd find it but it was on ONTD which would mean going back like 50 pages looking for one blurb (I really wish they tagged).

I actually never heard what it was he wanted. I just know that they'd set it up at the end of S3 for him to leave, that they had a falling out, but then they worked whatever it was out so that he did come back.

Yeah, I definitely didn't. I mean yes, ok, prove the dog was innocent. Don't want it to be killed if it is innocent. And by all means, it wasn't the dog's fault it got into the coke and went beserk. But McGee had every right to shoot it and NO WAY would I EVER have taken it into my home. That just seemed so unrealistic to me.

I knew you wouldn't get it, not being a dog person and all.

The dog was protecting his home. McGee was breaking in. The dog acted like it was trained to. You'd think the NCIS team would know that a soldier who was trained to be a dog handler would have said dog at his home.

Oh, I was also speculating. The Director seems to be sick or something, right? So that's probably not murder. Also, they already killed one female. Killing off another but no male leads? I think the show would be getting hordes of angry fan mail over that.

My best guess is that The Director either has cancer or is being poisoned. It's probably the former.

Do you think NCIS fans are going to bother with gender politics? They don't seem as rabid as some of the other fandoms, but I could be wrong.

Cancer seems likely...but so damn mundane. Can't be radiation poisoning thought because we already had that.

Rabid, no. But of when two lead characters have been killed off and BOTH are women? I normally hate that kind of racist/gender/whatever issues with TV, but that even I would be a bit miffed at.

Thanks for the link. I might have to ask her, but I think I can guess where she found them. The bear is the same one I picked for Jack, because of the eyebrows. With JB's eyebrows that bear was the only choice, imo. I bet she found them in a Build-a-Bear in the UK. I noticed that there was stuff in the store that wasn't on the website and vice verse. I looked on the UK website and there wasn't any, so I bet they sell them in the UK stores--only a guess, of course. I was also wondering if she made them. She mentioned she sews.

No, it's totally not terrible at all to hope Ducky or Jenny. I'm actually hoping Jenny because, even though I like her character a lot, she contributes the least to the group dynamic. Plus, they've been hinting something about her father for over a season that I think the death will have something to do with that.

I don't think it'll be Gibbs though because Mark Harmon won the game of chicken he was playing with Bellasario. Bellasario totally backed down so Mark should theoretically be happy.

Hmm, could you imagine the NCIS Director being murdered, though? Talk about the show taking a leap. I mean if something like that happened in RL, it would set the US on its ear.

I hope so! Mark is why I started watching this show, and while it's grown into so much more, it just would NOT be the same.
