*throttles Marilyn* Don't you understand Jack can save all?

*throttles Deputy Chief of Staff* Bastard.

*throttles Dad* Double bastard.

Deeper, darker. Poor Matt. Was Tom an angel or Matt's future?

Also, still hating Ms Vice President of Illiterate Programing. What a bitch.

And finally...next week's promo, OMG!!! The fake baby!!!!! *dies*

Heroes

I didn't see it (so no spoilers!) but I am curious as to why they showed the same promo for next week that they've been showing this whole past week.

24:

MUCH better than last week. I figured that the...familial, situation was really the way it ended up being. It was too easy otherwise. And OMG what about that ending?! Hardcore.

Jack PWNS me.

Studio 60:

And they just keep getting better. More of the AMAZING Danny/Jordan. Loved Jack and Kim's father ("Why do you do it?" "It's fun." Ahahaha!!). I liked Jack with Kim (No, not like that, I mean the little convo they had. Poor guy.). Matt and Harriet=WHOA. Tom+Lucy=so damn cute.

But the best. The best was Tomothy Busfield and his animals. OMG I was laughing so hard.

My favorite line (concerning the snake, ferret, and coyote):
"Yote made his debut in The X-Files. Been doing this ever since."

Dear Aaron,

YOU WIN.

Your biggest fan,
Lucy

Heroes:

Now, due to 24, I managed to catch the last, not shitting you, 30 seconds. And here's what I have to say:

Ha. Ha. AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!

And now, I found this wonderful youtube link via another Heroes fan and I had to share. If you're a heroes or Sam fan (not directly related, but you will laugh and understand why I'm suggesting it to you) you must not walk, or just click. You must RUN to this video.

Why, oh, why am I poor? Best Buy is having a sale on all FOX DVDs which means X-Files, Dark Angel, The Lone Gunmen, Millennium, and SGA! I'll be lucky if I can afford to buy one set. Now I have to decide which one!

So now, it appears to be [livejournal.com profile] crimsonsenya's birthday today. Sadly, without my computer I am very slow in knowing these things and so I apologize for not having anything to offer at the moment...but tell you what, my friend. As soon as my computer gets back...I'll work on demon!Dean just for you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

And a happy birthday to Dean. OMG...he's 28. O___o The man's gettin' old! ;-) Is it only me that wants to see Dean referencing his growing age ala US Queer As Folk's Brian?

Studio 60

Why are you not all watching this show? God, I love it so much!! And Ms. VP of "illiterate programming" (because I SO agree with Jordan here--no offense to you who actually watch "reality" TV), she totally cracked me up...and made my jaw drop with that exceedingly rude workplace comment.

Dear Mr Sorkin--
I want to thank you for your amazing skills at humor and seriousness. The way you're able to bring up sensitive issues and make them work. Also, thank you for making Jack Rudolph a very cool character instead of the jackass he could have been...and smart. And yay for CEO's that aren't afraid of their board.

But most importantly? Thank you for making what is potentially the best romance story on TV today. You are officially beating your own prior record of Josh and Donna with Danny and Jordan because OMG...he's not going to stop and now THAT'S LOVE.

Sincerely, your lovestruck fan,
Lucy

Also Heroes watchers will want to tune into next week's ep of Studio 60 because Masi (Hiro) is guest starring and oh, yes...there will be a "save the cheerleader, save the world" skit on it. WHEE!!!!!

SGA ramblings cut for length )

Now, I just wish I didn't have to wait to see Heroes until my computer is returned. BAH!!

PS--Anyone else bored with this year's Oscar's? It just wasn't a good movie year to me.

Heroes

OMG. I CANNOT BREATHE. WTFOMGKJGDKASEGATRKR!!

A little late, I guess, but here's a cut ) Have I mentioned my SHEER LOVE for Nathan?

And no more Heroes for over a month? *dies*

Studio 60

Ok, I haven't had a pairing until tonight. While I'm ok with Danny and Jordan as just friends, its totally building a new Donna/Josh. What is it with BW that just makes these kind of pairings? It's so adorable!

And now...after that scene...(the sandwich OMG!)..yes. Jordan/Danny OTP. He's amazing.

And Matt making his move on Harriet! *squees*

That ending...beautiful. That is Sorkin at his best. I was tearing up. My favorite ep, indeed.

And in non TV news

All my Christmas shopping is done, thank God. I am oh-so broke now. *winces and pets pocketbook* All I got left is to wrap!! And start on my online Christmas gifts...

Not to mention the homework. :-P Stupid school.

And sorry about the lack of music uploads. My computer won't load until I defrag and I can't find the freakin' right place to go.

I was finally able to catch up on this past week's TV.

Studio 60
Sorkin is back, ladies and gentlemen!! Nevada Day was Sorkin at his best. Funny and witty and a bunch of bumbles leading to good comedy consisting of slight slapstick, but mainly wit.

The actress who plays Jordan, is already starting to show. They're going to have to put her in jackets soon (like Gillian S1 and S2) or always have her sitting. Or think up a storyline. Which would be hard given what we know about her.

John Goodman rocks. I already like him so much better as the Judge than as the Majority Leader in West Wing. He's hilarious!

And finally, there were two Matlock references in my TV this week. LOL Oh, Danny.

By the way--it's actually been given an entire season! Yay! I get Sorkin for a whole year. Now the ratings just need to go up.

Heroes
Beyond my squee over a Congressional candidate saying "spooky euro dude", this ep was amazing! We had the brothers back and I swear to God there was one bit when Peter was torturing Nathan I thought he was going in for the kiss. Man, Tim Kring loves me!! Loved FINALLY seeing Nathan's wife and the family interaction. I almost can't be mad at Nathan for his transgression with Niki simply because despite it, it's so obvious he loves his wife (though that should actually make me madder, I suppose).

I loved Hiro talking to Micah--they were so cute! And oh--Micah! I can't figure out what his power is yet. It was like healing electronic devices. LOL

Loved Matt punching the guy out. I knew it was going to be something like that. Wow, he's surrounded by jerks in his life. *pets*

NCIS
[livejournal.com profile] siberian_skys, I can't understand why you didn't like this ep! I thought it was adorable. (is going to try to be general since I know someone won't want spoilers) Loved the new character and I hope she's a semi-permament basis. And Abby as always is classic. McGee and her remedy, LOL!! Classic McGee moment.

Not a real spoilery line but I'll still hide it in case... )

Justice was amazing again. I knew who had done it!! But I was actually kind of hoping for a whole gay jealous lover situation than what they did. They took the safe route. But good, nonetheless. Gilmore Girls was cute, of course. I love how Chris is trying so hard. I'm worried about Lane, though. And Luke on his date--OMG so bad!! Poor guy. Does April bother anyone else, though? At first I liked her, but sometimes, she needs some sense knocked into her.

Smallville
The ending was my favorite part. I loved the family Thanksgiving stuff. Awww. And you know...if the writers keep going to way they are I may just turn my head from Lois&Clark to Lois&Oliver. They're just so cute!!

But the Lana thing. Oh, brother. The minute she fainted I knew. I was like, please, don't go there...and then they did. This was me-->*headdesk repeatedly*

And finally, Supernatural.
danashulps... )

HEROES

Nathan doesn't want to think about the fact that he flew. Idiot. If I were a politician AND could fly? I'd rule.

I love the Japanese kid. He's so cute. Cheerful and funny with his American slang.

Side Note: What is it with shows these past two years? NO ONE practically had decent intros. And no insult to SPN, but I really hate this just one or two images as an intro. Whatever happened to intros like XF or the Law and Orders? Those are so much nicer. Justice is the only one I've seen with a nice intro. Speaking of--NO MORE JUSTICE TILL AFTER THE WORLD SERIES!! *cries* Twins better win. I swear if I don't see a good team and have to deal with the lack of Justice for no reason...

So Japanese guy finds a comic book, with like his exact conversations and powers. It happens to be written by this heroine addict who seems to paint and now write the future. He has seen what apears to be a nuclear bomb over New York.

Ok, so Nikki? I am so confused. She keeps blacking out and "jumping", as I'm going to call it. Like ends up different places, people dead, different clothes...almost like a an evil twin? I just don't know.

Side Note: Saw a preview for a war movie about Iwo Jima, Flags of Our Fathers. Looks good!

LOL Milo (Peter) draws stick figures. Oh!!! "You were always my favorite." What kind of shit is that for a mother to pull?

Ok, Japanese kid is STUPID! He totally grabbed a gun from a crime scene. And sure enough--busted!

Oh, now we're introduced to a guy who can read minds. And two people with sawed off heads...weird. Sounds/looks like a bad guy. And he's on the dead professors answering machine.

Side Note:What is up with all the shows websites going crazy and putting stuff online? Like, I don't have time to look at it all. I mean, Jericho has whole other eps online. Oy. Also, does it make anyone else laugh that a show called Friday Night Lights is on Tuesdays?

Question. If Nikki's evil side had time to plot out a map and put a shovel where she should dig...why didn't it just bury the men? Oh, wait...there's already a skull there. Creepy.

Uh-oh. Bad Dad (who was after the professors son) knows about his daughter (the cheerleader).

OMG the way Peter and Nathan can hug! GUH.

OMG. OMG. Japanese kid teleported himself five weeks later. And the bomb. The brother's won his election, but the bomb...

I apologize to you all. If you're not watching the show, it's no doubt real confusing as to who these people are and their exact relationship to one another.

STUDIO 60

I am loving the lights going on and off and Harriet talking about God loves her and hates Simon. It's pretty funny.

OMG Matt tackling Danny!! "To a casual observer this might look a little homoerotic." Oh, God, yes!! Ahahahahaha...

Oh, the ending montage at the party was cute, all in silence with "Will You Still Love Me?" playing and dancing.

Something however, is wrong with Matt. He did not end the ep happy despite 109% retention (good ratings).

If you people get anything out of this it should be WATCH HEROES, DAMMIT!
mf_luder_xf: (WW Kevorkian)
Whoa. Heroes. MAN. Breathtaking. I love the story, the evolution, the different characters and storylines. There was the classic hand-garbage disposal scene. LOL It was kind of gross though. But at least her hand got better...

And I love Mio in this. Hated Milo as Jess on Gilmore Girls. But I already am in love with him as Peter on Heroes. Not to mention him and his brother Nate? Dude. There could so be some cliche gay superhero mansexin' going on--with the added aspect of incest. Oh, God. *whimpers* *waves to the master of Hades because she knows she WILL be going there*

And the topper? The Japanese band lip-synching to Backstreet Boys. LMFAO

Studio 60

Matt: "Was she calling us Hollywood liberals or gay?"

Danny: "Pretty tough distinction."

Ok, the gay lines are RAMPANT on Studio 60.

And the Danny drug thing is slightly reminiscent of Leo and his alcohol/drug addiction. Minus the whole...Congress thing. I still find it interesting that they went with that. I have to wonder if Sorkin likes to allude and/or make fun of his own past problems.

Matt walks into his new office and there's this giant clock that counts backward from 7 (as in how many days till the new show). Matt stares and says no wonder he went crazy (meaning Wes). Great scene. It would drive me batty, as well.

I do not understand the issue Harriet has with Matt and now Jeanie. She and Matt are over. Good Lord she's acting like a 16-yr-old girl.

"This show decides what's cool and I just decided that looking like junior high schoolers is not cool." So says Matt to the cast and crew who are wearing beanies and like, flannel shirts.

I love that the title and days are done exactly as West Wing. It was always easy to read and see. And there's a few Sorkin lines. "For the love of God and all that is holy!" That was something Josh said once or twice. Hee.

Ok, Harriet cracking a fake bottle over Jeanie's head was great.

I love their song skit!! Modern Major General. Ah, Pinafore. Only it was Model of a Modern Network TV Show.

And now I get the Harriet/Matt thing. They're in love and angsting. Oy.

My Thoughts:

So it was great tonight. I loved both shows and Studio 60 really paid off. The slowest bits in my opinion are the Matt/Harriet ones. They're the only ones I don't find all that funny or productive in advancing the plotline. I'm sure others thing different, though. But I think everyone should tune in to both shows.

ETA: TWINS ARE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS, BABY!!
