Harvey hilariously tries to discover what Mike's tattoo is of, there's a trip to Japan, a lady assumes they're father and son (to Harvey's horror), and finally, Harvey gets to see the ink. Cute and sweet.

Sweet Thang by maja_li

Harvey becomes Mike's sugar daddy. OMG. The fic walks that fine line of paternalism and rich boyfriend (which, I suppose, is the point) and does it beautifully. The thing about Harvey is that he takes cares of people, even as he insists he doesn't care about them, but it's not done in a manner that expects something in return. So it becomes a true relationship and is executed wonderfully. Also, there are shopping trips. I love a good shopping trip.

Good Boy by maja_li

I haven't found anyone yet who can write Mike/Harvey D/s the way Maja can. It's brilliant. Insanely hot. Intensely emotional and romantic and everything D/s should* be. The way the author writes the characters and the scenes and background of this piece is very powerful, very sensual, and gorgeous.


*should here meaning how I like my D/s. YMMV. :)

So part of the premise of this (Harvey never having been high) has been Jossed but seriously. High!porn. There's always something about that I really enjoy, and as with anything she writes, Sam writes it brilliantly, with characterization and hot sex done to perfection. Lovely dialogue.

Lit Up by phreakycat

Mike has a form of synesthesia which causes him to see sound as color, and sometimes taste words. The condition works remarkably well with Mike's high IQ and eidetic memory and the author treats it beautifully. It's a gorgeous tale that features Harvey taking care of Mike. Seriously, the words weaved together are nearly as beautiful as I imagine Mike's synesthesia would be to see.

Grande Soy Triple Dirty Chai by friskaz

The obligatory epic barista!AU. I absolutely adore the OCs in this, Mike's character portrayal in the different setting, and the interaction between him and Harvey. And Jenny and Rachel are fabulous. Plus, baseball! It's a wonderful character piece.

I had been waiting for a fic that really set up Mike and Trevor's strange yet codependent relationship, that paired them together, and that addressed Jenny and finally, here it is. The beginning of the AU that focuses on the three of them in high school is brilliant and sexy and fucked up and wonderful. And when Harvey gets involved, and you see Mike blossoming under his tutelage as well as the UST that lingers...it's a brilliant high school/college!AU fic (which we all know are my favorite anyway, but this one is awesome. Richly detailed and with excellent characterization, I love this fic!

Crossovers

Catch and Release by musical_emjay (Harvey/Neal)

You know that Suits and White Collar are handmade for each other, and while most crossovers feature Harvey and Peter long-suffering after their impish boyfriends, I like this one because it plays off the dynamics of Harvey and Neal. Harvey is older and already a shark when Neal is young and more precocious, less practiced at his game. And then the dynamics change years later, even while they don't. I like that Harvey remains more dominant because it plays on my own Neal kinks and they come together in a very attractive manner. It's simple and uncomplicated and just a lot of fun.

Floor 37 by Closer

A lovely little Mike piece where he learns more about being a lawyer (and some politics thereof). The main OC is great and totally out sasses Louis AND Harvey. It's an enjoyable read.
