Ok, I swear I will do my SPN review this time. Probably later tonight. And I'm going to have a music post up soon.
I do have an incredibly lame question, though. You know where I have all the links on the side? Where the hell is it so I can change them? I've completely forgotten and can't find it. *facepalm*
But in the meantime...some little meme/quiz/whatever thingys.

The Rules
1. List your top 10 celebrity crushes.
2. Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them. (1-10: 1 being your favorite)
3. Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
4. Supply photos for said people.
5. Tag five people!
10. Joe Flanigan
Joe's at 10 here because he's a brand new addition to my OMGSOSEXY! club. First thing I saw him in and got hooked is Stargate: Atlantis. He portrays this amazing hero. He's smart, he's sexy, he's got these quirky grins, and best of all? He doesn't go emo no matter what. He's just an average guy who was shoved into something bigger than him and he's grown to fit it. Plus, he looks damn good in track jackets and military uniforms.

9. Jeffrey Dean Morgan
He wins simply because he's one of VERY few men I've ever found attractive with facial hair. He's rough-and-tumble, rugged, and oh, God, so MANLY. I first saw him on Supernatural which has made me a fan of his. He's a great actor, and along with the facial hair part...he's also one of the few actors I can imagine LIKING. Which is huge for me. He's got the most adorable grin with dimples and a rich laugh.

8. Allison Janney
Allison is probably my biggest "girl crush" because not only is she stunningly beautiful, but she's the most AMAZING actress ever. Her nuances, her style, how she creates each character. She's just...WOW.

7. Mark Harmon
I've had a crush on this man for ever. I'd say he was probably the fourth celebrity I ever had one on. He's charming, a great actor, sexy, and one hell of a smile. I first saw him in Chasing Liberty and he won me there. Then I began watching NCIS because of him and I really fell in love. As Agent Gibbs, he plays smart, witty, and someone that by golly, if I ever served under anyone as an agent or military person...Gibbs would be the kind of man I would want to do it for.

6. Michael Weatherly
I first watched him on NCIS and came to love DiNozzo's snark, cockiness, and that however much he likes to seem he doesn't care, he truly loves his job, respects Gibbs and his team, and is as dedicated a hero as Gibbs. I then saw him as Logan in Dark Angel and Logan is the total opposite of DiNozzo and I love that, too. Logan's smart, funny, and incredibly kind and devious. I don't think I'd like MW as a person...but he's hella sexy. I mean, look at his hair.

5. Bradley Whitford
Smart IS sexy. Brad may not have the best hair in the world (that's what I have Joe, Michael, and later Nick, for), but he again, is an amazing actor. Every role has his whole soul and being. He becomes the character. I first knew him on West Wing and Josh...Josh is an ideal man. Smart, dedicated, loves life, and he wants to make the world right. He proves you don't have to blow things up to be a hero. Now as Danny on Studio 60, he has his various problems (coke addiction, etc) but he's willing to conquer them, he knows good television, knows people, and if I could have someone love me as much as he loves Jordan? I'd die a happy girl.

4. Jensen Ackles
The man is damn pretty and sexy as hell. He's got this perfect hair, those big eyes, and a mouth that at first seemed so wrong, but now? It's quite possibly my favorite part of him. I saw him on Smallville and tuned into SPN because of him. I like watching him because it's easy to see his progression as an actor, and I love the nuances he's able to insert into each character. Plus, have you seen his body?!

3. Keifer Sutherland
The ultimate hero. He's better than Superman because he does everything as a human. He's better than Batman because he doesn't need more than any kind of vehicle, a gun, and a cell. He'll defend his friends and his country to his death. Two years of imprisonment by the Chinese without revealing a thing. He seems broken this season, but one thing about Jack Bauer is he is the strongest man alive. As for Keifer, obviously, I first saw him in 24 and while it's my favorite of his roles, he does well in others. Again, not my kind of person based on interviews, but he can save me any day.

2. David Duchovny
Again with the smart is sexy. DD was my second celeb crush ever and nearly ten yrs later, he's still at the top. I've seen over half of what he's been in and while Mulder will always be my favorite, the depth that DD gives his roles, the distinctions never fail to amaze. And he's turning out to be an even better writer and director. It's good to see an actor who is smart, went to school, and is using those skills for his profession. As for Mulder, he's not the type I'd want in the kind of life I will lead, but he's the kind of law man I want protecting me. He's a genuis and, as Bree Sharp says, he told me to believe. I'd follow him to the bitter end, too, Scully.

And finally...
1. Nicholas Lea
He's the most beautiful man I've ever seen. His eyes, his eyelashes, that nose, those lips, and by God, his hair! Just like DD, I've watched so much of his stuff. I have sat through some of the worst TV and movies just because he was in it. He's sexy, adorable, dangerous, vulnerable. His vulnerability is probably the most amazing thing about him. No matter how tough his character, Nick brings a humanity to them, gives you something more than the stereotypical bad guy. Again, he's an actor I love because of his nuances, but his are better than most even. I've never seen so many emotions flash on an actor's face at one time and manage to make it perfect and not overacted. Obviously, I fell in love with him as Krycek on X-Files, but now I think the man's just a great actor.

And then an explanation of my userpics. Seen everywhere on my flist.
So the meme thing said if you have 15 or less choose every third or something like that. But I'm just combining here.

As many of you know, I have a thing for TS Eliot and apocalyptic fic and poetry.
foxestacado has been kind enough to indulge me and make these icons (among others) and my header to express this weird obsession I have. ;-) What can I say? Dark, scary, deep, thoughful, and tragic. All I need.

So, why do I love SGA? Because I LOVE McKay. And why do I love him? Because he is an arrogant bastard. He's smart and knows it and I can't say it enough...smart is SEXY. I don't mind overconfidence and arrogance when it's well-proved. And McKay also has his sweet and vulnerable side...but really? He just PWNS.
(by
beeej)
Again with the apocalyptic side of me. The first wraith queen we meet in Pegasus and not only do I love Robert Patrick, but I love how he played Colonel Sumner. Finally...the red-haired wraith. She's beautiful. In a weird, wraith-like way. If I remember correctly, even Falnigan pointed that out in the commentary on this ep.

I just love the crop, the little color, the intense look on McKay's face...all in all, very artistic.

I'll be over here beating myself up over MW. DiNozzo rules my world and I've failed him as a rabid fangirl. ;)

Date: 2007-02-11 02:46 am (UTC)By the way, have you watched Trust the Man yet? I was sort of disappointed by the movie, but it was still good, it just didn't meet my expectations. But? DD was cute throughout.
BUT, wait until you see THE TV SET. That movie BLEW ME AWAY. I don't really care that much for DD's acting, but WOW. The TV SET, blew. me. away. He was amazing in it. Subtle. Perfect. Just...wow, perfect. He really changed my opinion when it came to the TV SET.

And wow, if you like The TV Set that much...I'll probably really like it. Especially with my love for Ben Stiller.

Date: 2007-02-11 03:10 am (UTC)Oh, yes it was hard. There are so many others I'd love to have included. Number one was easy though, it was just hard to pick an order for the rest.

Date: 2007-02-11 07:31 pm (UTC)God yes, JDM is totally a manly man, and I agree about liking him in real life, too.
I forgot about Kiefer! He should have been on my list.
I've never crushed on DD for all the years I was a fan, but recently, when watching them again - I end up gawking at him, heh.
no subject
Date: 2007-02-11 07:55 pm (UTC)I like to do that to people. ;-) Nah, I mean, I much prefer to listen to my new age and classical, but from time to time you need a pick up and I actually like classic rock. I bet it would surprise you more to know I also listen to Nine Inch Nails...
I forgot about Kiefer!
*gasp* How could you? :-D
Haha, as I said, DD was like my second celebrity crush ever, so whenever I watch, I just "fall in love" all over again. *g*

Date: 2007-02-12 05:04 pm (UTC)I'm like that with classical music. My sister is the classical buff, and sometimes it's nice to listen to that. Usually I like, need, classic rock all the time.
I bet it would surprise you more to know I also listen to Nine Inch Nails...
Ha, yes it does. But the more I get surprised by people mentioning they like NIN, maybe there's something about NIN that has a widespread appeal. Most pioneering industrial act out of the 90s, imo.
I'm in perpetual gawk-mode whenever Mulder's on screen. There's something hot about him, and it's not any particular thing I can pinpoint.

Date: 2007-02-12 12:42 pm (UTC)Btw, I started watching Heroes yesterday. I'm three episodes in now. It's a really hooking show, but I knew it already that I would fall for it instantly, just been abiding my time to be able to watch ll the eps so far in a marathon. :)

Date: 2007-02-12 09:42 pm (UTC)Yay! Heroes is fab. How you liking the broyay?

Date: 2007-02-12 10:40 pm (UTC)However, I'm completely mesmerized by Milo Ventimiglia, and I can't wrap my brain around what makes him captivating. He's not goodlooking in any way I like, but I just can't take my eyes off him. Weird, huh?
no subject
Date: 2007-02-12 10:44 pm (UTC)Yes, there really is something about Milo, isn't there? I've always found him hot...despite not liking his hair all that much. And I knew him on Gilrmore Girls, hated his character. And yet, I do still like him. So no, not weird. it's just something about him. :-)
no subject
Date: 2007-02-12 11:22 pm (UTC)He was on GG? The small world of tv actors. I've only seen Milo in Rocky Balboa before this. Funny you should mention his hair. I love how the strands look so silky and keep falling on his face. Oh, my. As if I needed one more pretty boy in my life... *sighs*
no subject
Date: 2007-02-12 11:34 pm (UTC)Heh. I guess. I'll admit I don't see many cultural families with siblings in actions. Most of my friends who have siblings typically hate them. My friends are typically the older sibling. And usually boy/girl. So I guess, I wouldn't assume brothers could be so close naturally. I don't know. I still think it's more. ;-) I mean, did you notice Mamma Petrelli? Seriously, creeped me out a bit. LOL
Milo played Jess on GG. And I just have a thing with long hair. As in...I hate it.
