Do the Dennis Hopper Ameriprise (retirement financial planning) commercials make anyone else laugh? Like, I like them, but they're still funny.

And I'm not cutting for the "spoilers" because from what I've heard, they're not.

1.) What is the one moment in the series so far where you've felt like stopping the actions of a character?

Well, Dean baring his soul...and when he reached up and into that vent. EW, Dean.

2.) If Sam or Dean were President/Prime Minister how do you think they'd run the country?

I don't think either would care to. Definately not Dean. He'd probably make lots of stupid laws and have affairs in office and he'd be impeached like that. Sam, might actually care, but I can't see him wanting to do something so braod and administrational in nature.

3.) Will what John told Dean about Sam and the children like him make Sam feel better or worse, once Dean passes it on?

Uhhh, considering Dean's face...I can't imagine it's not shocking. And considering he HASN'T TOLD SAM, it can't be good.

4.) Kripke has assured us that the Dean/Jo relationship is inevitable. How would YOU like to see it handled?

In one TV Guide interview he said he was reading the boards and will not do something that isn't working. While I don't care one way or another, I think he's gotten the point that fans don't like her and I believe he's going to listen.

5.) Kripke talks about Jo/Dean, but what would you like to see in regards to Sam's love life? Should Sarah come back? A new character altogether? Stay single for the fangirls?

I would like Sarah to come back. But honestly, I like the no girls (and not for the usual reasons) and given the nature of the show (two brothers traveling and killing evil things) it doesn't allow much for settling down or a girl to tag along. So maybe, when the series ends...we could see him and Sarah settling down or him seeing/meeting a girl we could interpret as him going with. But not till then.

I like your answers to the last two.

I also am amused (and slightly appalled) by seeing Dennis Hopper on a TV commercial. Who's next? Nicholson?

What do I know? I'm still reeling from hearing Iggy Pop for that cruise line...

Considering the things they've seen (and touched) on so many other hunts, you'd think Dean would be smarter than to blindly stick his hand INTO A VENT THAT HAS SLIMY GOO COMING OUT OF IT. Stupid Dean.

Jo doesn't bother me as a character, but my problem with the "attraction" angle is that she seems so young. I don't know what her age is supposed to be, but to me she comes off as, like, 16 or 17. For someone as manly and growly and hot damaged and wise-beyond-his-years as Dean, a teenaged "girlfriend" just seems really inappropriate. Not to mention icky. Yeah, she's tough and can go on a hunt and all that, but she still seems rather childlike. Or maybe that's just me?

As for Sammy staying single, yeah, he's clearly not into the casual thing like his brother, so I can't see him hooking up with anyone unless they stay put for a lengthy period of time. *feels somewhat protective of Sam, hee*

It's not so much the difference of age in numbers, but rather a difference in what you've experienced of life, how well you know yourself, and what you're able to contribute to a relationship. At 16 or 18, most people are just starting to really discover themselves and their place in life, test limits, learn independence. A 5-year difference is nothing when you're 35 or 40 and already have some life experience under your belt, but when you're 18? It's really not comparable.

Has Jo ever left home & her mommy? Seems not. She talks tough, and undoubtedly she's suffered & been through a lot because of her dad's death. But she still seems pretty dependent and unworldly so far... so I question how much she would be able to truly understand a complex guy like Dean and the deep issues he's struggling with, as well as his level of devotion to the cause (and his family).

I dunno. She just screams "little sister" to me rather than "girlfriend". *shrugs* It doesn't feel right, especially when Dean can clearly have his pick of women in almost every episode. *g*

Hmm. I really liked Sarah, but I don't know that she could carry off a relationship with Sam that Dean pushed him into, even if they settled down somewhere. Still, I liked Sarah a lot more than Jo. If we don't have Jo then Ellen doesn't get the same character setup that has me waiting for more Ellen (and Dean reacting to Ellen), so, have to keep Jo. Something about having too many wanna-be bad-boy friends who got shot down by either me or my mother during their formative highschool years makes me crack up every time Dean shows fear of the mama bear that is Ellen.

Yes - I agree. If it is something even kind of middle of the road, it won't explain the secrecy. It has to be something bad or at least bad-ish. Poor Sammich - he is going to be crushed I think.
