Ho hum. Yet another XFish plot.
Question: Any scoop on Supernatural?— Chris
Ausiello: Much like almost every other character on television lately, Sam and Dean will be involved in a hostage crisis later this season. A disgruntled security guard will hold up a bank when nobody believes one of his out-there theories for why the place got robbed.

Yeah, ring any bells?

Date: 2006-11-15 10:26 pm (UTC)I've always been of the perspective that there are only so many plots/character types/whatever in the world, and that the fun thing is seeing how different authors/shows present them. If I love a set of characters, I generally get excited when I find out they'll be involved in some situation I've seen done before, because I want to see how they, specifically, will deal with it, you know?
Case in point: my husband snarked that this week's episode of Bones seems AWFULLY FAMILIAR, i.e. because it was done in the season 5 finale of CSI. He's absolutely right, but I'm still blissed-out excited because I can't wait to see how Bones, Booth, Hodgins and the other squints handle the situation and solve the case. You know?
