1.) Do you think Sam will develop more powers beyond visions and telekenisis?
If we follow with the others, probably not. I'm beginning to wonder if Kripke dropped the telekenisis even. Would I like him to? Oh, yeah.
2.) If the show were to have a famous horror movie actor/actress guest star on the show, who would you like to see?
Uhh...well Linda Blair is already going to be on (thus I think the point of the question). Considering I've seen maybe four horror movies in my life...I have no clue for famous horror movie actors. But if we do actors I've seen in horror movies...totally Josh Hartnett.
3.) The classic question: Sam or Dean? And why?
I hate this question. I am not a Dean or Sam girl anymore than I am a Scully or Mulderist. I like them both, and I want to smack them both upside the head.
4.) In last night's episode we saw Jo's hunting skills; do you think she should join the boys on the road?
On the road? Hell no!! I like her, but no, it's SamandDean and DeanandSam. I don't mind her going from time to time. But not always!
5.) Do you think, if Sam knew that John was going to die in the hospital, that if he could go back and do it again he would shoot John while THE DEMON was possessing him?
Oh, my. That's tough. I think Sam would want to. But he wouldn't because of Dean, still. That's the only reason he didn't and it would keep him from doing it still.
Ok, so Jo-haters. I'm just curious. Why do you consider her a Mary-Sue? When the creater creates her for a show in the start of only its second season, how can someone be that? It just doesn't match up in my brain as a Mary Sue since it's Kripke's story and world.
And here's a follow up. Any of you watch Moonlighting? Was Mark Harmon a Marty-Sue?
And who is excited for Casino Royale? OMG I SO AM!!! Who cares if Bond is blond? It's BOND.
Wow, I totally feel like I'm spamming you with posts lately. I need to watch Heroes. And I'll do my No Exit post tomorrow late evening, I think.
ETA: XF fans (and SPN) you've gotta read this article over on Haven, comparing XF and SPN. It's the first time I've actually seen this view.
Excerpt (and didn't I say this myself? Pusher?): But I digress; “Simon Said” is shamefully rip off from episodes THE X-FILES used to run about once a year. A slacker finds himself with some unique mental abilities that allow him to influence the minds of everyone around him – do the local hottie, have someone give up their car, their coffee, whatever.

Date: 2006-11-03 10:23 pm (UTC)I've been talking about Jo all day, it seems. I don't hate her, I just don't want her out on the hunt getting in the way. As long as she stays at the roadhouse I'm okay with her. I'd be happier if the CW PTB would costume and style her like an adult instead of a high school girl. They did do better last night which is a good thing or the apartment manager would have thought Dean was either out with his daughter or a child molester.
If it takes the sting out, I'm so stoked for Casino Royale. It looks great. The hair color doesn't make Bond, it's all in the attitude. We've had some really bad Bonds and I don't think that's going to be the case here.
Somehow I knew you were going to answer #3 that way. ;-)

Date: 2006-11-03 10:30 pm (UTC)Yup, last season.
Haven't you noticed how many women dress like high schoolers though? I mean, I'd say she's supposed to be about Sam's age which is college age. And "we" dress like high schoolers. But I know what you mean.
The hair color doesn't make Bond, it's all in the attitude.
Exactly!! Yay. Oh, man, I'm pumped.
Somehow I knew you were going to answer #3 that way.
Haha, I don't understand why anyone asks the question anymore. But yeah, it's what I'll always think.

Date: 2006-11-03 10:42 pm (UTC)I got the impression that Jo's about Sam's age, but she comes off so less mature. As goofy as Dean can be he knows when to be a grown-up. Also, you can't tell me that Jo's hair didn't make you crazy.
I wonder if the Sam or Dean question still gets asked so much because people wonder if there's been a shift this season.
Bond, James Bond. :-)

Date: 2006-11-03 10:48 pm (UTC)I'm going to clear this up here: I DO NOT consider Jo a Mary-Sue. Mary-Sue's are, in my opinion, created by fanfiction authors and they sometimes don't have the skill to make OFCs enjoyable and believable with the main characters. Jo is a original character created by Kripke - not a Mary-Sue. The reason I DISLIKE HER (hate is too big of a word for a secondary character like her) is because I was afraid if Dean actually settled down with her, it would break up the dynamics of Sam and Dean (and even in "No Exit" we saw less of Sam which is, omg, a sin) as brothers and hunters. Also, me being the avid Sam/Dean fan wants undertones.
No, I never pinned Jo as a Mary-Sue. Her personality I was pinning as a Mary-Sue, because in fic people will write a girl in as a hunter like Sam and Dean and have her be all, "omg, let's kill the sunuvabitch" and walk around all haughty. I never got to liking Jo (but I may just yet) but in "No Exit" she had a legitimate reason to be hunting and I know that Dean can relate with her - the same reason they hunt, 'cause it's for their dads. I thought she would hunt just because, but she seems like a good character to add. I just don't want her being part of Sam and Dean's bigger mission and road-tripping with them. It was the same way with John - the reason I expressed dislike for him is because I love the focus on Sam and Dean as brothers and I never wanted anyone breaking that up and Kripke has done an excellent job at keeping that together while writing in awesome extra characters, but that's the reason I instantly was mad about the prospect of Jo back in the summer.
Longest explanation ever, huh?

Well, minus that I do like her. But not love yet, no. Maybe not ever.

Date: 2006-11-04 04:46 pm (UTC)♥ I love you too!
I could like her, but I was just so pissy about her being an added character that I never let myself begin to like her. If she comes back, I bet I could like her.

Date: 2006-11-04 06:37 am (UTC)Boond!
Date: 2006-11-05 06:33 am (UTC)I also think that now, in the times of serious world terrorism threat, we need a different Bond. I mean - in the 90s all the threats of "end of the world" looked rather...not serious, not the way they portrayed the impending catastrophes. While now, with all the war conflicts and how countries get sucked in, I 'd say...a cruder one. Not ... more homicidal, but...who does not look so...pampered as TB. I hope you get my point. And as such, I rather like DCraig, even though I'm not into blondes. ;)
Re: Boond!
Date: 2006-11-05 06:36 am (UTC)I'd like to see the new Bond be more 24ish. It's brutal, in your face, more realistic (once you take away the whole must-be-done-in-24-hours thing). I think at least this first one is till going to be more classic Bond from what I've seen in previews. Plus, its supposedly how he started out. But I'm so pumped. :-)
