Dude, two things ALWAYS happen in a Heroes season finale: Nathan (almost) bites it, and Sylar does, too. Sort of. Kind of. Usually.

Well, if it helps, Adrian Pasdar confirmed that this isn't just the Nathan software installed on Sylar hardware. This is Nathan software on Nathan-ish hardware that becomes more Nathan-ish the longer it's there. So eventually Sylar's brain would shift completely into Nathan's, and there's no problem, except for the spiritual.

. It may be *technically* his DNA, but how is it actually his "hardware" when we know the base of it all is Sylar?

Which "he" are you talking about? For the moment, it's Nathan's body and Sylar's DNA -- but that will change. We know for a fact that Sylar and Peter's DNA can recombine. We know for a fact that the longer Sylar shifts, the more elements of that body hold over: the extra tooth he woke up with, his eyes staying blue. So I don't at all see why it's a stretch to think that Nathan's form may become permanent, to the point where it shifts Sylar's DNA into Nathan's.

I don't exactly see the point of distinguishing between a superhero world and a scifi world in this instance. In comics, the big difference is that superhero worlds contain magic and unexplained supernatural elements. Heroes has super science and super genetics. There is no magic, and whether there are ghosts is still up in the air. Maybe Usutu was a ghost, maybe he was an aspect of Matt's psyche guiding him to use a new aspect of his power.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. 'Tim Kring is a dick'.

Pasdar was the only reason I started watching the show in the first place, and I've always said that the moment he goes I do to. I guess I'll have to wait to see how things work next year but if they have truly screwed Nathan I'm gone. :(
