The Petrelli's This Week

I wish I had time for fic writing!! Because these past two weeks of Heroes practically demand it. Like the end of this week's episode when Nathan shows up with Claire. Peter turns away because he's mad at Nathan, hurt by him, and (momentarily) feels betrayed by him. But he's too beautiful, too Nathan, so Peter can't be mad enough to not cave if he looks at his brother. And how Claire goes immediately to Peter's side with a small embrace, a claim, support. And Nathan understand now, knows he's been a dick and an idiot, but he's also confident (he knows he looks pretty pimp in those aviators. What with those and the flying, he's like fucking Tom Cruise!!) because he knows Peter will come back. He always does. It doesn't help his ego any that though Claire goes straight to Peter, and Peter may have her heart and mind, Nathan's had her body. And maybe he's captured a bit of her heart now too. And maybe together, they can learn to share. And he doesn't mean himself and Peter sharing Claire. But maybe, now that there's a mutual understanding and some mutual interest in one another, he and Claire can learn to share Peter. He's not ready completely, but he's getting there.

And in the midst of a desert compound, 40 miles from nowhere, surrounded by skeletons, they might find family again.

To be honest I stopped watching Heroes with the fleeing Mexican twins storycrapline, but I thought Claire was Nathan's daughter? Or did they change something? Or is it something where it's this big bundle of Petrellicest?

Yeah, it'd be the latter. ;-)

It has been better this season than last. I hated the sibling storyline there, too. Maya's in the first 5 or so eps of S3, but very little is actually seen of her.

To be honest, though, the show could actually jump shark and start being a discovery program on sharks but I'd still watch as long as Adrian and Milo were playing Nathan and Peter.

But ok. Two weeks ago, Nathan and Claire run away to Mexico. Nathan tries his hand at outdrinking college kids and passes out. Claire with her healing ability somehow processes alcohol faster and wins. The she drags a drunk Nathan back to their room (with one king bed because the hotel guy assumed she was a hooker) and proceeds to help him undress while he's stumbling about and talking about how he's failed her and how he'll make it up to her.

Now, ok, if my dad got drunk, I'd help him to his room. but I'm sorry. Change of clothes or no, I wouldn't help him undress. It was like fanfic onscreen.
