Some TV Thoughts

NCIS:

Ok, who watched this week? Who thought it was quite possibly the slashiest episode ever? I mean, did you see the accidental handbrushes? I am not really an NCIS slasher but this episode sure could have turned me!! And I knew by the end that McGee knew. Which just made me laugh all the harder. Come on, you two. She'sHe's the one!!

SHORTS. Jensen's ASS. YUM. I think I drooled for a solid 2 minutes. How sad is it that Dean would have made both a horrible gym teacher (telling the kid to walk it off) and a good one (he looks like one of those pervy gym teachers, lol)?


So, I didn't like how they tried to make the bully human. Yes he had a hard life and it's awesome he was good with his mom, but I don't care. You do not take that out on someone 1/3 of your size. Go to a counselor or something. So I wasn't really impressed. Plus, then he continued to hurt people after he died? No sympathy from me.

Your thoughts?

Oh, and one other thing. How old were the boys supposed to be. Because Barry and Sam looked about 12. Which would make Dean 16. Which ok, I can almost believe (the same way I believe 24 year old Tom Welling was 14 in S1 of Smallville). But then Barry said in three years he was out of there. Which should make him about 15. NO. I'm sorry. Neither kid pulls off 15. But. Say Barry was uber smart and ahead. That would make sense. Except that he was still in Sam's class. Truman was a high school, right? So supposedly Sam was about 14 and Dean 18 (the 18 I believe better). But I'm sorry. Even freshman today are not that tiny. He was born in '96. That means he is about 12!!

NCIS was awesome. I was giddy the whole time. I think I might pull it off OnDemand and re-watch it sometime this weekend.

It was a Junior Senior High School like I went to. So it had 7th thru 12th grades. Sam was a freshman and Dean was a senior. Dean was supposed to be 17 and depending on the month, Sam would have been 13 or 14. I wouldn't have been surprised if Barry skipped a couple of grades in school, but boys also mature more slowly that girls, physically. It's quite believable that Sam may have been late to get his growth spurt for a variety of reasons, plus considering their upbringing, Sam probably didn't get the best nutrition in his early years. Sam only had 6 months with Mary where Dean had 4.

That's still lame though. I simply can't believe Sam was 14ish there. I like 12 and 16 better. *nods*

Haha, it made me giddy too!! Although I missed Gibbs. He was hardly in it.

I think you have to take into account that Dean and John probably smoothered Sammy, as well, especially after that near miss when he was little.

Well he was checking out the cheerleaders. So yeah he kind of was only in his adorable Dean way.

They whole bully thing kind of pissed me off too. I'm sorry but he got what was coming to him. He was the bully and got a taste of his own machine and apparently couldn't handle that. It's not Sam's fault. The kid deserved it. I dealt with bullies like him all though school so no I didn't feel bad for him at all either.

I agree with you completely on the whole age thing. But as far as the school goes I'm assuming it was one of those 6th grade - 12th grade schools. That's the only way it would make sense that they'd be in the same school together.
