To CC With Love

So New York's ComicCon was the weekend. And after watching The Videos, I just have this overwhelming amused and fuzzy feeling towards Chris Carter. He was polite, funny, and snarky. The best part is by far this:

Fan Question: Did you read any internet fanfic as inspiration for your steamy love scene?

(CC and FS laugh)

MC: I know I did.

CC: Uhh...(pause)...this is a PG-13 movie, so that stuff is way too racy for us.

(audience laughs)

CC: Uh, no, we did not. But I appreciate the fanfiction and ongoing, uh...*shakes head*....uh...People are living much more hot and racy lives than I am.

LOLZ!!! Oh, CC. ♥

And then his last comment of the panel:

Fan Question: Will Mitch Pileggi be in the movie?

CC: Actually, he'll be in that steamy love scene with Mulder and Scully.

(CC laughs)

Ha! Genius. And now I'm off to watch last night's BSG.

The Ties That Bind

Whoa. I mean, WHOA. How any of you think this was a boring episode...I don't understand. I mean, yes there were boring parts (the Quarom(?) bit). And as starbuck92 commented, Cally and Niki's whining/crying was driving me up a wall. But beyond that, the ep packed a punch. So much that this is the first ep I've felt worthy of commentary.
