So, I just finished watching American Gangster and my mind likes to make huge leaps and bounds and analyzes every movie as a possible fandom AU so...

I want to see a fic where John Sheppard is maybe a local narcotics officer, or better yet, a DEA agent. Ronon's his partner, Teyla is his division boss who can't help but go out from time to time herself (she likes it when those dealers think she's a wimpy little girl and then shoves their faces into car hoods and puts the handcuffs on), and Weir is the agency Director. And somehow on one some seemingly small bust run by the Genii gang, Rodney McKay gets caught in the middle. And John thinks he's a suspect, some kind of upper class distributor, but somehow something seems off and he finds himself falling a little in love with this blundering physicist. Turns out the deal isn't so small, it's part of a huge operation and maybe, with Rodney's help, Sheppard can bring down the biggest (fill in drug/s of choice here) manufacturer who operates under the name of Wraith (shell corporation) and is run by a guy named Todd (who may or not be more than meets the eye).
