There's apparently High School Musical slash? I think I want to cry...

Also, why did my friends filter vanish? I now have to click on two links to get to the page? DUMB LJ.

And then two requests. I keep seeing icons made with like IWTB behind the scenes photos of Gillian and David, promo shots or something from interviews and such. But I can't find them anywhere! Anyone have links? And additionally, I keep seeing Amanda Tapping icons where she has brown hair but is pictured with RDA. Anyone have these? Thanks.

I knew that but seriously people will slash just about any fandom. Hell I've even seen slash for I Love Lucy.

Though what really gets me is that fans can grab onto a pairing that has little or no subtext and completely ignore the more obvious ones. Hell I've even been flamed for requesting fic for pairings like that or laughed at. Though that was a het pairing I got laughed at for but the joke's on her because it's canon now so there.

Its not the slash I mind so much as the High School Musical part. I mean, really? First off, so cheesy. And second, its so disgustingly wholesome that I can't imagine pairing the actual main characters!! LOL

I never got into the movies only because it seemed so stupid and way too cheesy for me. I mean I love a good cheesy movie but HSM just didn't appeal to me. Though it could be the fact that half the icon communities I'm in the makers are obsessed with it so I was overwhelmed.

I was watching something last night that showed a clip from the reality show. The guy was singing I Don't Want To Miss A Thing to a girl in the audition, turns out it was his sister he was singing too. He openly admitted it was his sister too. So either he's the dumbest guy in the world or he loves his sister a little too much.
