Hollywood Babylon:

LOL There were so many bits that made me think of Hollywood A.D. (which I just rewatched the other night *G*). I loved the beginning with the Gilmore Girls aside and the comment on the weather. And I always love the guy who played the studio exec (I know him best as VP Russell), great actor. The end result of the haunting was lame, but it actually worked because it was funny. Good ep. Despite Dean being a total skeeze. *snickers*

Folsom Prison Blues:

Henricksen. I like that guy. The interrogation room scene was perfect. Wonderfully played by all three men in the room. A few funny lines (Tiny--LOL!!), the creepy eyes...it all played very well. Plus Simon/Nareem/Tad/every other Vancouver-made show actor aka Garwin Sanford. Hilarious. And the cocky lawyer was fun, too.

The future. It's a scary place. I couldn't help but think of Dark Angel.

The characters were brilliant. I love Claire as a brunette (and her beau was pretty hot). Nathan was just...he's Lex Luthor. He's a survivalist/. He's Alex Krycek. He's AMAZING. And Mohinder...I was thinking maybe the Hiatian would end up as the moralist but good for Mohinder. HRG visiting Claire--I love Bennett. Hiro and Ando: OTP. Not in the fanfic sense, but they're the truest of friends. And Sylar--ha!! I knew he wasn't gone...And the idea (even though I knew it was Sylar) of Nathan and Peter duking it out? GUH. Also...did you SEE Peter and Nathan and how damn good they looked?

Also, in the future? Mohinder and Nathan have so been doing it for the past five years. And Peter's screwing his brother's trick. Displacement, much?

And in light of that...this cast. How do they have so much chemistry? I admit, they're all great actors. But even great actors cannot get that much true chemistry onscreen if it isn't already there. And all of them have it with all of the rest. There aren't ever two people onscreen that make me go 'meh'. All of it is just genius. How do they manage it?

In conclusion...IAMBLOWNAWAYHEROESISAMAZING.


In slightly related topics...I think that comms which have links to shows should have mandatory monthly sweeps where the mods comb through links to make sure they are active. And delete the posts if they're not. It would save me a hell of a lot of time and frustration.

Heh, we noticed a long time ago that stepping onto the dark side is always good to your complexion and wardrobe. *g* You ever thought of Peter/Sylar slash? /winks/ I was put thsi idea into my head just yetserday...and it is spreading!

My only objection would be that Clair's beau was a toad. He looked completely a mismatch to her, IMHO.
