Perhaps I am the last to know, but when I read this:

"...but we were considering making McKay a daddy."

I nearly had a heart attack. I mean, whowhathuh?! Does this mean they're stepping up the Katie Brown/McKay pairing? And they don't (wouldn't have) use birth control? Or a fanfic-y Ancient device, or someone Earth or....HUH? Not to mention...the logistics of the CS having a kid to take care of on Atlantis.

Thank God it didn't work. I mean, you know me, laisez faire on what happens show-wise, but that...yeah, would have a had a heart attack.

And then I had to laugh at this anonymous comment:

"As we know, getting someone pregnant takes two people..."

and I want to respond and ask them if they've ever watched X-Files. *snerk*

I haven't read his blog yet so I just choked.

McKay as a daddy would have been interesting and probably very funny because he's so bumbley. He knows everything about everything, except babies.

BUT honestly McKay/Brown as a pairing makes me very uncomfortable. Just feels wrong to me.

Oh, I think it would be adorable. But I'm not sure I want to see it on the show. I mean, none of SG1 had to deal with a kid (Cassie went to Janet, after all). Now I realize, not the same show. But that would (if they were to do it realistically) end up stopping McKay from going offworld, and the kid and and mom would have to move to the mainland (wherever the Athosians are now) and he'd have to visit taking away more time...

And the only person at this moment in canon I can see him getting it on with is Katie (since I'm still holding out for Sam/Jack) and I dislike her with him completely. It is wrong.
