Where did you hear Carter was taking over as commander? Also, taking over what, for whom? I'd gotten the impression she'd be essentially taking on Caldwell's role - having command of a ship that is tasked with helping out/taking care of Atlantis - which wouldn't much affect the status quo on Atlantis itself. But I haven't read any new spoilers, so that information could have changed.
Maybe they did mean ship...but they never mentioned ship in the interview. Plus, didn't that new guy take over for Caldwell? I don't even remember his name...the one who aimed the beam at the Replicator world?
He's probably in it the sum total of abuut 10 minutes, but it's a good movie nonetheless and it's totally worth watching even for those ten minutes cause those are extremely good ten minutes. :D

The movie is Century Hotel, he's in 17 minutes, and yes, the whole movie es worth viewing. Not only for the DH parts (over which ones I drool endlessly) but all the story. Is an independent Canadian movie, and is not easy to find. DH scenes are at YouTube, but if you want give a chance to the movie, whistle on my general direction (at south...not, more... really, really south...)
