Okay, so you know how much I love you right now? Yeah. LOADS. This story was... wow. I had so much love for it just from the teasers! But all of it together? It was just amazing. Mind boggling. You always have this extra underlayer of something in your story, like in HCW, that leaves me breathless. I was literally on the edge of my seat reading this (until I got kicked off, of course).
My favorite part? The game! Oh. It broke my heart. Seriously. Dean searching for Sam, so desperate and so sure. And how he found out which one was Sam?
Dean zeroed in. “Sam, do you love me?”
“As my brother, always.” *iz ded* I love Sam in this. So much. How Dean wants Sam so bad, how he wants him all and and Sam is the one who wants to get away from it because it's wrong. How he says he loves Dean as a brother and how Dean loves him so much more. Usually, the roles are reversed, but I love this. So much. The Sam/Dean brotherly (and non-brotherly) aspect is so freakishly awesome. I especially noticed in the game, how he tried to get Mordred to give Sam back to him and he would leave quietly. *squishes* Then he looked over at Sam. His brother had lost all anger in his completion and Dean reached over, brushing dark bangs off Sam's face. He scooted closer until he was pressed against Sam's side and gently kissed the corner of Sam's mouth, then his lips. This is one of those images that are painted perfectly in my mind. It's just so Dean. “Sam. Listen to me. I know you're in there. You have to fucking shoot it. Then kill me, fine, but Christ! for my sake,” he panted, eyes scrunched closed and teeth gritted, “fucking kill the bastard!” NO DEAN! *saves* Sam is such a stupid little dillhole when Dean wants to talk to him about what happened with the shapeshifters and Mordred (that is really interesting and I'm glad you tied that in. So cool!). GOD. *hits Sam* TALK TO YOUR BROTHER! And then Sam leaving? You'd think, after the truck incident, that they'd be together and Sam would just finally get it, but he didn't! He still strives for the norm, wanting to push himself away from Dean and you just want him to turn around and run back to Dean. But he doesn't. Because he's a DILLHOLE. You're not helping my Sam-hate right now Lucy!
I hope that is a long and lovely review. XD. *loves liek whoah!*
