I saw the Cult pilot at Comic Con and it's actually got a lot of potential. The final few minutes take a wickedly dark turn, throw some twists out there (one of which is spoiled in the new trailer) and it's fairly unflinching in it's violence for a CW show.
It's got some pacing issues and the lead character is a bit dull right now (which made me sad as I love Matt Davis), but the hints we were given by the creator about what's to come are really exciting. It's actually fairly respectful to the fans, the in-show producers basically say that "it's not all the fans, but some of them are completely bonkers", which I loved.
There's also the promise that the show is to utilise social media in a never before seen fashion, so it's going to be highly interactive, so it's pretty interesting based on that alone.
Anyway. Just figured I'd give some feedback on that one as I'm already a wee bit invested.
I haven't really got any plans on what I want to watch - bar that - as yet. I should pick up some new stuff though, so far I've only got the new season of The Vampire Diaries to watch. Also Game of Thrones, but that isn't til March. Nothing really leaps out at me this year though.
