Star Trek: Enterprise

So, Enterprise is basically an ode to fandom. Let me demonstrate:
And then of course, you have the usual Star Trek things like time travel and crabby Vulcans and civil wars and sexy women for the men of the ship to flirt with (though may it be noted, besides Trip's accidental pregnancy, Hoshi (a female) is the only one we've actually "seen" have sex!).
There's also this AWESOME conversation where T'Pol tells Trip and the Captain (who have dinner together nearly every night) that they need to "release tension". AKA, HAVE SEX. That was an awkward, HILARIOUS scene. Up till then, I sort of shipped Malcolm/Trip (the shuttlepod ep, who can resist?) but now...total OT3 with Trip, Archer and T'Pol. Archer and Trip bond over how strange T'Pol is while she just shakes her head at them because not only are they human, but they're such boys sometimes. GAH. *flaily hands*
Mind you, this is all the first season. I LOVE THIS SHOW. I don't care if most Trek fans hate it on principle. I think it's hilarious.
The funky timeline bugs me, because Archer's an admiral when Kirk is Captain, I believe and Archer is about 40 in Enterprise which means either human have way extended lifelines, or Kirk must be being born right (if you figure he's in his 30's on Enterprise) about now which means Spock was ALREADY born, but clearly, there is no Ambassador Sarek in the picture and Vulcans seem to hate humans on principle so I doubt even if Sarek is already ambassador that he's married Amanda, yet. But beyond that, I Iove this show.
- Trip gets pregnant in the 5th episode. MPREG in canon!?
- There's a giant, jizz-like tentacle monster.
- Two men get trapped on a shuttlepod where they think they're going to die and drink bourbon and nearly freeze. Hypothermia slash, anyone?
- In another episode, the Captain and Trip are playing basically lacrosse (with smaller goals) and are half naked and sweaty as they're on a dessert planet. If that's not fangirl fanservice...
- And later, Trip is suffering from heat stroke and they're having this awesome bromantic moment as the Captain gives Trip his water and keeps him talking. It's like the opposite of hypothermia fic.lol
- The obligatory shore leave episode.
- In the same shore leave episode, the two men (Trip and Malcolm) who were on the shuttlepod together are tricked by two aliens and have their clothing confiscated. Cue waking up together...in just their underwear.
