Dean/Castiel is the truest OTP ever, and yes, you’re quite right. When Castiel stayed, I (joined the SPN fandom and) stayed. Before that I had actually sworn to myself that I would never come anywhere near this fandom because of (a) the drama that, at least partly, stems from RPF – which I have some issues with, but certainly have no right condemn – and (b) the Wincest.
I don’t have (that many) issues with Sam/Dean as a pairing – other than that it squicks me. I know people who read that; it’s none of my business. What I have issues with, is that it’s – supposedly – the default pairing of this fandom. We are not talking about a royal family in ancient Egypt, people; why do you insist on incest being the natural option?
