I think that The X-Files has quite possibly the shortest teaser ever (Within, 53 sec) and Battlestar Galactica has the longest ever (don't remember the ep, but I clocked it at 11 mins).

BSG. I mean, really. 11 minutes is not a teaser. It's a quarter of the show. LOL
