I have a little poll for you all. It is not truly a fan-based question, so don't not answer because you've never watched SG-1. The point of the poll has little to do with the actual show. But, for background (those of you non-fans) a Goa'uld is a parasitical creature who inhabits a human host. The Goa'uld are typically evil, however, some have split off and instead co-exist with their host consensually and are known as the Tok'ra. The Goa'uld have superior technology that comes across as "magic" and have sarcophagi which can bring them back from the dead.

[Poll #967271]

And now, I just finished watching the first two eps of 7th season of SG-1 last night and am incredibly sad. I'd grown to love Jonas Quinn--more than Daniel, even. I hate that he left and that we don't see more of him later. In honor, I have picspam of the amazingly adorable and talented Corin Nemec. Only 8 photos, so it shouldn't be too bad on you dial-up friends.

We'll ignore the incredibly tacky shirt in favor of his great hair.

He was in Smallville. Good thing I have the DVDs so I can go back and watch!

My favorite funny scene with Jonas in The Changeling.

And I had to share an interview I found that points out he's slightly odd. But still so cute! Yes, Corin was in a movie called Mansquito.

"A guy fighting a giant mosquito-man seems absolutely ridiculous to the average individual," he concedes, inadvertently revealing that he's never hung out with the TVGuide.com. "But when it's captured realistically, it becomes very believable. You just have to be willing to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride.

"I could [even see Mansquito becoming a series]," he adds, "but it just depends on whether the audience wants to see more of those characters. It's like with Indiana Jones. Once you saw Raiders of the Lost Ark, you wanted to see him go through more stuff. You can't have just one movie!"
